Michael Borgen
Senior Portfolio Manager
Michael Borgen joined Navellier in 1995 as a Quantitative Research Analyst and has thirteen years of experience in the securities industry. Mr. Borgen has been the Portfolio Manager of the Mid Cap Growth Portfolio since its inception in 1997. Mr. Borgen is also responsible for the management of the Micro-to-Small Cap Growth strategy, and he participates on the management team of the Small-to-Mid Cap Growth strategy. Most recently, Mr. Borgen has developed and launched Navellier's Large Cap Core Portfolio and is the product's portfolio manager. Mr. Borgen is an integral member of Navellier's research team and conducts ongoing research enhancements of the firm's quantitative investment process and is involved with product development.
Mr. Borgen received a B.S. in finance and an M.S. in economics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
