Navellier International Growth
If you are looking for an international mutual fund that has proven itself in a fluctuating market, Navellier's International Growth fund could be your solution.
This fund has been remarkably resilient through well-known market turbulence. During the August 2007 global credit crisis,
Financial Week
ranked the fund the top Foreign Large Growth Fund out of 240 funds. When the U.S. equity markets were under severe pressure in 2001 and 2002, it remained in the top 7% and 20%, respectively, of all foreign large cap growth funds (191 funds in this category in 2001 and 214 in 2002), according to Morningstar.
In favorable environments, our International Growth fund has capitalized on winning stocks, a weakening dollar, and strong money flows. During the 2007 shift out of value stocks into growth stocks, the fund has been performing well relative to its value-biased competition. As of 12/31/07, Navellier's International Growth fund was in the top 8% of its class for best year-to-date performance in the Morningstar database out of 240 funds.
Looking forward, we are confident that this fund is well-positioned. The value-to-growth migration is expected to continue for at least the next 12-18 months, if not several years.
